Town information- The market town of Warrington, Cheshire, located on the banks of the River Mersey, lies in the north west region of England in the sovereign state of the United Kingdom. The town boasts with an immense population of 319,782 inhabitants, consisting of approximately 51% females and 49 % males, striking an almost perfect gender balance. The Bridgewater Canal running through the town is considered one of the few true canals in England.
